After dominating the global box office for weeks, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is finally preparing for its digital debut. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the high-octane spy thriller is all set for its OTT release. However, there’s a twist for Indian audiences, as the film will initially stream only in international markets.
Dhurandhar 2 Set For International OTT Premiere
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as one of the biggest blockbuster films of 2026. Since hitting theatres in March, the action-packed thriller has shattered several box office records and maintained a strong theatrical run worldwide.
Now, the makers are gearing up for the film’s OTT launch. According to Netflix’s official listing, the movie will begin streaming internationally on May 14, 2026. In some regions, viewers may get access on May 15 depending on local time zones.
Interestingly, the film will not be available on Netflix India during its first phase of release.
Extended Version To Stream Online
The OTT version of Dhurandhar: The Revenge is expected to arrive with additional footage and a longer runtime compared to the theatrical cut. Reports suggest the digital version could run for nearly 3 hours and 52 minutes.
The international streaming release is also expected to include uncensored dialogues, extended scenes, and additional end-credit footage. Netflix has reportedly promoted the film with the tagline “Raw & Undekha,” hinting at a more intense viewing experience for audiences.
The decision has already sparked excitement among fans who were hoping to see deleted or extended scenes from the theatrical release.

What About Dhurandhar 2’s India OTT Release?
While Netflix will handle the international release, the India streaming rights are reportedly with JioHotstar.
Several reports claim the film is expected to premiere in India on May 14 as well, although the makers have not made an official announcement yet.
The OTT timeline gained attention after a legal controversy connected to the film surfaced recently. According to reports, filmmaker Rajiv Rai reportedly approached the court over the alleged use of a remixed version of the iconic song Tirchi Topiwale in the climax portion of the movie.
The recreated version reportedly appeared under the title Rang De Laal. During court proceedings, the producers allegedly informed the court that the film would not release digitally before mid-May, indirectly hinting at the streaming schedule.
The timeline also matches the typical 8–10 week OTT window followed by many major theatrical releases in recent years.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in important roles.
The sequel continues the story of high-risk espionage missions filled with political conspiracies, betrayal, and intense action sequences. The film’s scale, action choreography, and emotional drama have played a major role in attracting audiences worldwide.
Dhurandhar 2 Continues Historic Box Office Run
Even after completing seven weeks in cinemas, the film continues to perform strongly at the ticket window.
According to trade reports, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has collected over Rs 1,140 crore net in India alone. Its worldwide gross collection has reportedly crossed Rs 1,790 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films in recent times.
The film has also performed exceptionally well in overseas markets, where audiences have responded positively to its action-heavy storytelling and large-scale production value.
With the OTT release now around the corner, the blockbuster is expected to reach an even wider audience globally.
