Prime Video has officially announced March 13 as the worldwide premiere date for Aspirants Season 3. The much-loved Hindi drama, created and produced by The Viral Fever, returns with a new chapter that dives deeper into ambition, accountability, and the consequences of life-changing choices.
Directed by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, the series stars Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sunny Hinduja, Namita Dubey, and Tengam Celine. Actor Jatin Goswami joins the cast as the newest addition this season.
What to Expect from Season 3
The upcoming season continues to follow Abhilash’s journey across two timelines. In the present day, Abhilash, now serving as a District Magistrate, faces serious professional trouble. An inquiry is launched against him after allegations are made by ALC Sandeep Ohlan. The controversy begins to strain his relationships with Deepa, Guri, Dhairya, SK, and even Sandeep, while also threatening his professional ambitions as a new rival enters the picture.
At the same time, the series takes viewers back to the past. After qualifying for the IRS, a younger Abhilash returns to Mukherjee Nagar to give the IAS exam one final attempt. The familiar UPSC preparation hub once again becomes the backdrop for intense friendships, emotional dilemmas, and fierce competition. The dual timeline format promises a deeper look at how past decisions shape present realities.

He also emphasised the strong collaboration between Prime Video and The Viral Fever, which has helped the series grow steadily across seasons.
Vijay Koshy, President and Business Head at TVF, described Season 3 as a crucial turning point in Abhilash’s life. According to him, the new instalment explores how personal and professional challenges test the protagonist in unexpected ways. By revisiting Abhilash’s final IAS attempt while also showing the consequences of his present-day choices, the show aims to add greater emotional and narrative depth.
