The buzz around Bhooth Bangla is getting stronger with every update. The film marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after 14 years, a collaboration that once delivered some of Bollywood’s most loved comedy hits. Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, the project has already struck a nostalgic chord with fans who grew up watching their cult entertainers.
Adding to the momentum, the makers have released the film’s first track, “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge.” The song presents Akshay Kumar in full entertainer mode, blending chaos, humour, and his signature comic timing. Packed with lively visuals and exaggerated madness, the track offers a sneak peek into the film’s quirky horror-comedy world.
The number carries an energetic vibe from start to finish. With its upbeat rhythm and playful staging, it sets the tone for a film that promises plenty of laughs mixed with supernatural twists. Akshay is seen navigating a haunted setup filled with eccentric ghosts, delivering an over-the-top performance that leans into the absurdity. The overall mood hints that Bhooth Bangla aims to be a fast-paced, crowd-pleasing entertainer.
The music has been composed by Pritam, while Kumaar has penned the lyrics. Vocals are by Armaan Malik and Aarvan (Dev Arijit), with an added rap section written and performed by Mellow D, giving the song a modern touch alongside its classic filmi flavour.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla features a strong ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.
Bhooth Bangla is set to hit theatres on 10 April 2026, and if the first song is any indication, audiences can expect a full-on entertainer with a spooky twist.
