After drawing solid crowds in cinemas, Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is ready for its digital debut. The Malayalam action comedy, which turned out to be the industry’s first major success story of 2026, will start streaming on Netflix from 19 February.
For those who couldn’t catch it in theatres, this is the perfect chance to experience the chaos and energy from home. The film will be available not just in Malayalam, but also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, giving it a much wider reach across the country.
Directed by Adhvaith Nayar and penned by Sanoop Thykoodam, the story revolves around three brothers in Fort Kochi who launch their own underground wrestling league. What begins as a small-scale venture inspired by flashy WWE-style entertainment soon spirals into a wild ride packed with ambition, sibling clashes, and emotional moments that hold the family together.
The film features Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in prominent roles. Veterans like Siddique and Lakshmi Menon also add weight to the narrative. The music, composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, plays a key role in elevating the high-energy wrestling sequences.
Originally released in theatres on 22 January 2026, the film opened to mixed but largely positive word of mouth. Viewers appreciated its performances, slick action blocks, vibrant visuals, and engaging pace. It eventually emerged as the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2026 so far, wrapping up its theatrical journey on a strong note before making the shift to streaming.
Now, with its OTT release around the corner, Chatha Pacha looks set to find a whole new audience.
