Fans of Pawan Kalyan had double the reason to celebrate on his birthday, as the makers of OG unveiled a striking new poster of the star in his Ojas Gambheera avatar.
The poster shows Pawan sitting casually on the boot of a rugged Dodge car, dressed in a maroon shirt and black trousers, with a jacket tossed over the vehicle. Sporting a bearded look, dark sunglasses, and an air of calm menace, he exudes the vibe of a gangster who is in complete control. The backdrop of Mumbai, coupled with the blood-stained ground beneath the car, hints at the violent power struggle his character is poised to face.
Released online by DVV Entertainment on Tuesday, the poster quickly dominated social media, with fans flooding timelines with birthday wishes and sharing the new look. Pawan’s relaxed yet threatening stance sets the tone for the film’s gritty, high-stakes world.
Directed by Sujeeth, OG follows the story of Ojas Gambheera, a gangster returning from exile to Mumbai for a dangerous mission. The film pairs Priyanka Arul Mohan opposite Pawan, while Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the main antagonist. The ensemble cast also features Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Shaam, and Harish Uthaman.
Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, the film’s technical crew includes cinematographers Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, along with production designer A S Prakash. Promotional material so far has leaned into stylised action, dark undertones, and Pawan Kalyan’s commanding screen presence.
OG is slated for a solo worldwide release on September 25, after the makers of Akhanda 2 shifted their date, clearing the stage for Pawan’s much-awaited gangster saga.
