First look poster of Vishwanath And Sons
The much-awaited Suriya 46 now has an official title. The film, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Suriya, has been named Vishwanath and Sons. The makers also confirmed that the film will hit theatres this July.
Suriya and the production house Sithara Entertainments unveiled the first-look poster, describing it as the return of “vintage” Suriya.

The title poster features Suriya smiling warmly while holding a milk bottle in one hand and carrying a baby in a front carrier. The soft, family-oriented visual has sparked excitement online, with many fans calling it a refreshing change from intense action roles.

A Family Drama With Emotional Core
Vishwanath and Sons is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. The film stars Mamitha Baiju alongside Suriya, with Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in key roles.
Notably, this project marks Raveena Tandon’s return to Tamil cinema after 24 years, her last appearance being in Aalavandhan starring Kamal Haasan.
The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
According to producer Naga Vamsi, the film explores relationships, love, and emotional bonds between a 45-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. He described it as a wholesome, feel-good family entertainer built around strong human emotions.
Suriya’s Upcoming Lineup
Suriya was last seen in Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Apart from Vishwanath and Sons, he has multiple projects in the pipeline.
He will next be seen in Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji, co-starring Trisha Krishnan. He is also working on Suriya 47 with Jithu Madhavan, which features Nazriya Nazim and Naslen.
With Vishwanath and Sons set for a July release, fans are eager to see this softer, family-oriented side of Suriya on the big screen once again.
