Trailer Release Date of Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi Announced
The much-awaited trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s next film, Nishaanchi, finally has a release date. After unveiling its teaser and a few songs earlier, the makers have confirmed that the trailer will drop on Tuesday, September 3.
The film marks the debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, who will be seen in a challenging double role. Nishaanchi traces the emotional and action-driven journey of two brothers who choose contrasting paths, with their decisions ultimately shaping their fates. The cast also includes Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles.
Speaking about the project earlier, Kashyap described it as his tribute to classic Bollywood storytelling. “Nishaanchi is my full-on Salim-Javed zone of film—it has the hero, the drama, and the payoff a film must deliver. I spent 69 days on it, and it’s my longest and most elaborate shoot yet,” he said.
Backed by producers Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, the film has been co-written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap.
Nishaanchi is set to hit theatres on September 19, 2025, and expectations are high for Kashyap’s most ambitious mainstream outing yet.
