Punjabi singer-songwriter Karan Aujla has announced a special fan appreciation concert titled “Mumbai 2.0” for fans who attended his Holi-themed concert in Mumbai earlier this month. The new show is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2026, and will be free for those who had purchased tickets for the March 3 event.
The announcement has created huge excitement among fans, as the concert is being seen as a gesture of gratitude towards the audience who attended the original show at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai.
A Special Thank You for Fans
The March 3 concert attracted around 15,000 fans as part of the ongoing P-POP Culture India Tour. However, the event also received mixed feedback from attendees regarding the daytime setup and overall experience.
Responding to the feedback, Karan Aujla decided to return to Mumbai with another performance exclusively for the same audience.
Speaking about the initiative, Karan Aujla said:
“Mumbai has always shown me incredible love, and this concert is dedicated to my day ones. I want every fan to know they are valued, acknowledged, and respected. For every fan who came out to celebrate with us, we’re coming back to create magic once again, and this time it’s going to be one wild party.”
He also thanked Team Innovation, the event organizers, for helping make the event possible.
A Unique Move in India’s Concert Scene
According to organizers, this may be the first time in India that a major concert is followed by another show specifically for the same ticket holders as a fan appreciation gesture.
The upcoming “Mumbai 2.0” concert promises a completely upgraded experience, featuring a global standard production setup designed to enhance the scale, visuals, and immersive elements of the performance.

Team Innovation Responds to Audience Feedback
The event is being organized once again in collaboration with Team Innovation.
Mohit Bijlani, Co-Founder of Team Innovation, said the new concert is meant to thank fans for their support.
“We carefully reviewed audience feedback and felt the best response was to express gratitude. Karan Aujla Mumbai 2.0 is a fan appreciation concert, a thanksgiving event for all our fans who helped make the Mumbai leg of the tour successful.”
Another co-founder, Siddhesh Kudtarkar, acknowledged that improvements could be made in future events.
He noted that adding more shaded areas and water points would help enhance the audience experience at open-ground venues.
At the same time, he clarified that the event details, including timings and the Holi daytime theme, had been clearly communicated on ticketing platforms.
Event Safety and Refund Measures
Organizers also addressed safety concerns, stating that the venue operated within its permitted capacity and there were no stampede or major security issues.
Due to government regulations, liquor was not sold at the event. Drinking water was available at counters, and attendees who had purchased lounge packages were offered a 25% refund.
About the P-POP Culture India Tour
The Mumbai concerts are part of Karan Aujla’s P-POP Culture India Tour, a 10-city music tour across India.
