Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Bollywood’s biggest March 2026 release is gearing up for a massive festive launch. With only a few days left before release, the makers of Dhurandhar 2 have finalized an aggressive rollout strategy designed to maximize momentum during the holiday window.
The spy action sequel starring Ranveer Singh is being positioned for a strong opening run right from the first evening. The plan reflects the makers’ confidence in the film, which is expected to dominate the box office conversation during the Eid weekend.
March 18 Paid Previews, March 19 Theatrical Release
According to reports, Dhurandhar 2 will begin paid preview shows in India on March 18 from 5 PM onward. The film will then release worldwide in theatres on March 19, 2026.
The strategy is designed to take advantage of the Eid holiday period and boost first-day collections. Paid previews the evening before the official release are expected to help the film capture additional audience demand, especially as show availability becomes limited on the main release day.
The promotional rollout is also carefully timed. The film’s trailer is scheduled to launch on March 7 at 11:01 PM, and advance bookings are expected to open shortly after the trailer drops. Tickets for the March 18 paid previews will likely go live during this advance booking window.
Another reason behind the preview strategy is the film’s relatively long runtime, which reduces the number of shows theatres can schedule per day. By starting screenings a day earlier, exhibitors can create additional show slots, with some theatres potentially running late-night or early-morning shows from March 18 evening into March 19.
