According to reports, advance bookings for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will go live across India on March 7. Ticket sales are expected to open immediately after the theatrical trailer drops the same day.

Multiplex chains and major cinema circuits are aligning their booking systems to capture the surge in demand expected following the trailer launch. The film’s ticketing rollout will begin using a provisional censor certificate while the final certification process is completed.

‘Super Blockbuster Plus’ Ticket Pricing Introduced

To handle the anticipated demand, Jio Studios and several national theatre chains are introducing a new pricing category called “Super Blockbuster Plus.”

Traditionally, large releases fall under “Blockbuster” or “Super Blockbuster” pricing slabs, which are usually 10 to 25 percent higher than standard ticket prices. The new category is expected to push prices slightly higher during the peak demand period.

One factor behind this decision is the film’s reportedly long runtime, which is said to be close to four hours. A longer runtime means fewer daily shows per screen, so premium pricing helps exhibitors balance revenue while accommodating heavy audience demand during the holiday window.

Pan-India Release Across Multiple Languages

Unlike the first film, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is aiming for a broader pan-India reach. The sequel will release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

This wider release strategy is expected to significantly expand the film’s audience base across different regions of the country.
