As the release date of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge approaches, excitement around the film continues to soar. According to his post, after speaking directly with Jio Studios, he learned that no official announcement regarding a March 3 trailer launch had been made. He emphasised that the production house will reveal the trailer release date at the appropriate time through official channels.

The excitement for Dhurandhar 2 is not limited to India. Overseas markets are also witnessing strong demand. A limited-time pre-sale for advance tickets in the United States began toward the end of February. As of March 1, early numbers reportedly showed the film outperforming Toxic in advance sales, despite both films gearing up for a March 19 release.

The original Dhurandhar, which was released in December 2025, turned out to be a historic blockbuster, earning over Rs 1,300 crore worldwide. That phenomenal success has naturally raised expectations for the sequel to match or even surpass its predecessor’s performance.

In the sequel, Ranveer Singh reprises his role as Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The story continues to follow the Indian spy’s high-stakes mission. This time, he is sent into Lyari, the criminal underbelly of Karachi, to dismantle terror networks responsible for attacks in India.
