Samay Raina Asks About Legal Cases
The conversation soon shifted to controversies.
Samay asked Aujla whether he had ever faced a legal case.
The singer replied with a smile that he had never faced anything on the scale of Samay’s controversy, joking that it was because he had never asked contestants questions like, “Would you rather…?”

Why MF Gabru Sparked Controversy
The controversy dates back to 2025, when MF Gabru faced criticism over its lyrics.
The Punjab State Women Commission took suo motu cognisance of the song and issued a notice to Karan Aujla, alleging that the lyrics contained objectionable, derogatory and obscene references towards women.
The matter sparked both legal and social debate, making MF Gabru one of Aujla’s most talked-about songs.
Now, during India’s Got Latent Season 2, the singer chose to address the incident in a light-hearted manner, turning an old controversy into one of the funniest moments of the episode.
